Transfer JFK - Lower Manhatten für 4 Personen

    nachdem ich in letzter Zeit eher passiver Forumsnutzer war :o9: , mlede ich mich mal wieder mit einer Frage an euch zurück. Hoffe, mir kann geholfen werden! :99:


    Folgende Situation: Wir kommen mit vier Personen (und vier große Koffer) am JFK Airport an und müssen möglichst unproblematisch vom Airport zum Hotel nach Lower Manhatten (Nähe Ground Zero)! Da wir eine Person dabei haben, die nicht mehr allzu gut zu Fuß ist, scheidet m.E. nach der Transfer per Subway aus, da wir uns sonst zu dritt an vier Koffern kaputt schleppen! :99:
    Habe nun mal nach einem Limo-Service geschaut, da ein taxi m.E. nach aufgrund der Personen- und Gepäckzahl nicht in Frage kommt (oder?!).
    Eine Limo (Mini-Van) kostet 60 $ und fährt uns anscheint von "Tür-zu-Tür"! Ich kann die Limo sogar vorab per Internet buchen (carmel) und muss wohl nichts anzahlen, da cash möglich ist.
    Nun meine Frage: Wie seht ihr die Sache?! Ist das die beste Alternative oder gibts noch andere Möglichkeiten?!

    Limo ist auf jeden Fall bequemer als Taxi und nur 15$ teurer. Würde ich machen. Wobei: grundsätzlich sind die New Yorker Taxen recht groß, so dass man da vier Leute mit Koffer reinkriegen sollte. Aber mit dem Limo-Service geht Ihr auf Nummer sicher.

    Na, vielleicht ja wieder in einem Jahr! :beten:


    Meinst Du, 60 $ ist der Festpreis oder kommt da noch Tax oder Brückengebühr oder ähnliches drauf?!


    Ich habe vorab mich auf deren Seite mal durchgeklickt und geschaut, wie die ganze Onlinebuchungsprozedur abläuft. Musste allerdings bei der Angabe der Telefonnummer kapitulieren. Es gab keine Möglichkeit, meine Handynummer (mit 49 oder + oder ohne 0 oder wie auch immer) einzugeben! Und ohne Tel. Nummer gabs kein "next page"! Hast Du da auch nen Ratschlag?
