Nationalpark Pass

    State Parks sind nicht im "America the Beautiful Pass" mitinbegriffen. Dafür soviel wie ich weiß aber die National Monuments. Also am Mono Lake und auch im Red Rock Canyon habe ich noch nie extra bezahlt sowie auch bei den Carlsbad Caverns.

    Das Wort "State" verrät schon, dass die Parks nicht von einer nationalen Behörde verwaltet, sondern vom jeweiligen Bundesstaat unterhalten werden. :zwinker:
    Der "America the Beautiful Pass" deckt alle Schutzgebiete des National Park Service und des Fish and Wildlife Service ab, dazu die National Forests und die Gebiete, die dem Bureau of Land Management unterstehen. Für einzelne Leistungen kann hier dann nochmal eine Gebühr anfallen (z.B. Benutzung bestimmter Wege, Backcountry Permit, Camping...).

    Netterweise kosten ja die wenigsten State Parks in Oregon etwas, so werden wir dann vor Ort entscheiden, welchen zusätzlichen Pass wir kaufen.


    Wenn wir es denn überhaupt nach Oregon schaffen.......... :cheesy:
