    Also nur MIT der gelben ADAC Karte zu nutzen.
    Es geht aber in 98% der Fälle auch ohne Karte (sogar ohne die AAA Karte)
    wenn man Online bucht. Vor Ort reichte bisher bei uns immer die AAA Karte.

    Bei uns wurde diesmal die ADAC Karte sogar kopiert, nachdem sich die Mitarbeiterin am Frontdesk des Comfort Inn Lone Pine nicht sicher war, ob sie uns überhaupt einen AAA-Rabatt einräumen darf.
    Eine ADAC Karte hatte sie vorher noch nie gesehen und über die Pappkarte, die ich schon seit Jahren im US-Portmonä habe, hat sie nur geschmunzelt.
    Ich will damit sagen, daß es immer drauf ankommt, an wen man vor Ort gerät.
    Wie Andree schon sagt, in 99% der Fälle, braucht man garnichts vorzeigen.
    Das eine übrig gebliebene Prozent hatten wir jetzt aber schon mehrmals in den letzten Jahren.
    Meist hilft dann aber immer noch ein nettes Gespräch über die tolle Umgebung oder eventuelle deutsche Vorfahren oder ähnliches.

    Bei irgend einem Fastfood in Mesquite hol ich mir einen ice-gecrashten Latte mit Schlagsahne und Caramel-Sirup drüber (Will ja nicht als Gerippe nach Hause kommen :zwinker:).
    Uti möchte eine kleine Waffel mit Karamaleis. Ham 'se nicht. Ich sag, dann soll er einfach etwas Karamel-Sirup über's Vanilleeis tun. Nein tut ihm leid, das geht nicht.
    Kommt seine Kollegin vorbei und sagt: "Na klar warum nicht?!"
    Wie gesagt, kommt immer drauf an, an wen man gerät.
    Wobei manche Typen hier eine gegen Null tendierende Flexibilität an den Tag legen.

    ähnliches hab ich mal vor jahren in Jerome, AZ erlebt...in einer Art Eisdiele wollte ich Drei verschiedene Sorten Eis auf einer Waffel (also nach unserem Verständnis 3 Kugeln...) Da war kein Weg drin.. :kopfkratz: Der Typ hat mich völlig entsetzt angeschaut, als wenn ich bei Ihm ein Schnitzel bestellt hätte...? Drei separate Waffeln/Sorten wäre wohl gegangen... :D
